Scholarship Application for Students Seeking a Career in Respiratory Care

The Washington Respiratory Care Foundation (WRCF) with assistance from the Respiratory Care Society of Washington will be awarding scholarships in 2025 to students seeking a career in respiratory care. This award is for students who are currently enrolled in an Entry to Practice program in the state of Washington working towards earning their degree in Respiratory Care. They can be working towards either an Associates or Baccalaureate degree. This scholarship is not for currently credentialed Respiratory Therapists that are returning to school.

The WRCF recognizes the significant commitment that comes with an education in Respiratory Care, not only academically but also financially. The WRCF is committed to supporting continued student success.

We will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to deserving students with a desire to give back to their community and a willingness to serve. These awards will be presented at the Annual Pacific Northwest Regional Respiratory Care Conference and Scientific Assembly on the evening of April 26, 2025 at the Northern Quest Casino in Spokane, WA.

Your scholarship application packet will be assessed by the WRCF Scholarship Committee without any identifying information given to them. This will avoid any potential bias.

2025 Photo Release Consent

I hereby grant the Washington Respiratory Care Foundation (WRCF) and the Respiratory Care Society of Washington (RCSW) permission to use my photograph in all publications, for WRCF and RCSW purposes, including web site entries, without payment or any other consideration in perpetuity. I hereby authorize the WRCF and the RCSW to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute this photo. I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my photo appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photograph. I am 18 years of age or older and am competent to contract in my own name.
